Fun Casino is closed to Canadians
The casino is alive. Canada is simply on its list of countries whose residents may not register. Old offers on other sites are out of date.
What's new
Fun Casino's terms, version 1.9 dated 1 October 2026, include Canada among restricted countries. Some listing sites still show Interac for it; the operator's own terms win.
Fun Casino is not closed. Its site loads, the games run and the welcome banner is up. It just does not want players from Canada.
We read its terms in the browser on 26 October 2026. Version 1.9, last updated 1 October 2026, has a list of countries whose residents may not register. Canada is on it.
Why a running casino is "not for Canada"
Fun Casino is run by L&L Europe Ltd in Malta (C53706) and holds licences from the UK Gambling Commission, the Swedish Gambling Authority and the Malta Gaming Authority. It launched in 2017 and has a sportsbook and more than 450 games.
None of that helps a Canadian. When an operator lists your country as restricted, you cannot open an account. If you managed to anyway, the ID check at withdrawal would expose your address, and the terms allow the casino to close the account.
The bonus on the homepage, 100% up to 123 in euros, pounds or dollars, is not open to Canadians either.
About older listings
You may still find sites showing Fun Casino with Interac for Canada. LCB's page, last updated in March 2026, lists Interac among its methods. A July 2026 SlotCatalog scan covered only Finland, Ireland, Malta and Norway.
We go with the operator's own terms. A listing site can be months behind; a casino's restricted-countries clause is what decides whether your account survives.
Our own page from 2022 described a sign-up bonus of free spins and a split welcome package. That offer is no longer relevant to anyone reading from Canada.
If you opened an account years ago
Do not deposit. If there is money in it, contact Fun Casino support through the site, explain that you live in Canada and ask for the balance to be returned to your original payment method. Keep a copy of the exchange. A VPN login will not help and can freeze the account.
How to check a casino's country list on your phone
Fun Casino is a good lesson for any brand you find on a listing site. Before you register anywhere, take two minutes:
- Scroll to the footer of the mobile site and open the terms and conditions.
- Use your browser's find-on-page (in Safari it sits in the share menu; in Chrome, the three-dot menu) and search for "Canada" and "restricted".
- Check the version number and date at the top, so you know the text is current.
- Look for Ontario and Alberta separately. Many offshore sites accept Canada but exclude those two.
If Canada appears in a restricted list, stop there. No bonus is worth an account that can be closed at the first withdrawal.
Three casinos that do take Canadians
- Jackpot City, with an App Store app and Interac, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Dux Casino, a Malta-licensed web app with a Canadian-dollar site and Interac.
- Sol Casino, a big lobby with Interac and spins that grow with the deposit.
Each excludes Ontario, and Jackpot City runs a separate product in Alberta. For more choices by payment method, see our Interac casino guide.
