GGBet Casino review: esports first, slots second
An esports betting brand with a full casino tab. The iPhone app is rated 4.1, Interac is in the cashier, and the bonus stretches over seven deposits.

What's new
The GGBET iOS app reached version 2.36.5 in the Canadian App Store on 23 October 2026 (4.1 from 188 ratings). The casino welcome now spreads over seven deposits, from 150% + 20 spins at C$13.
GGBet made its name with Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and League of Legends odds. Slots came later. You can feel that order the moment you open it on a phone: tournament brackets and live esports markets first, the casino one tab over.
None of that is a problem if you know it going in. This GGBet Casino review looks at the casino side for players in Canada outside Ontario, using a phone as the only screen.
Built around esports, and it shows
The home screen is a betting board. Live matches scroll across the top, odds change in real time, and the casino sits behind its own menu entry. If you came for roulette and nothing else, that is two taps you will make every single visit.
For someone who watches a CS2 major and plays a few slots during the breaks, the setup is handy. One account, one balance, one cashier.
One quirk: GGBet's promotions are often tied to esports markets. A free bet on a tournament does nothing for your slot balance, so read which section an offer applies to before you deposit for it.
For a pure slots player it is noise. A casino-only brand such as Wazamba or Sol Casino puts the reels on the first screen.
The app: 4.1 on iPhone, sideloaded on Android
The iOS app is simply called "GGBET". It is listed in the Canadian App Store under the seller Invicta Networks N.V., came out in May 2024 and was updated to version 2.36.5 on 23 October 2026. It is rated 4.1 out of 5 from 188 ratings.
That is a decent score for an offshore betting app, and much better than many rivals. The store listing describes it as an esports and sports betting app, so do not expect a casino-first layout inside it.
Android is the usual offshore story: no Google Play listing, an APK from the GGBet site instead. You will need to allow installs from your browser for that one file. Download it from the operator's own domain only.
The full casino also runs in Safari or Chrome without any install. If you mainly play slots, the browser is enough, and it spares you an app that keeps pushing match notifications. Our casino apps guide lists brands with a casino-first app instead.
Seven deposits, one long ladder
The casino welcome is unusual. Instead of one big match, GGBet spreads it over seven deposits, and the percentage depends on how much you put in each time.
| What you deposit | What the ladder gives (per TheLines, Oct 2026) |
|---|---|
| From C$13 | 150% + 20 free spins |
| Middle tiers | Rises with the deposit; exact steps not published by our sources |
| C$130 or more | 200% + 50 free spins |
| Number of deposits covered | 7 |
| Wagering | Not stated: check the terms |
A 200% match sounds generous. It also means a C$130 deposit turns into C$390 to play with, and every bonus dollar carries a playthrough we could not confirm. Wagering is the number that decides whether a bonus is any good, and our source simply does not give it.
Our advice: deposit the minimum on the first step, open the bonus terms in your account and find the multiplier before you go any higher. Seven deposits is also a long commitment. Set a deposit limit first.
Who licenses it?
This is murky. LCB lists a Curaçao (CGA) licence. TheLines' review claims UKGC and MGA licences. Those are very different regulators, and we could not settle it from the site because gg.bet refused visitors from our test location.
We go with Curaçao as the likelier answer for the Canadian site, and we would like to see the licence in the footer before depositing much.
Ontario is excluded, since GGBet has no AGCO registration. We would also skip it in Alberta after the province's 13 October 2026 deadline for unlicensed sites. Age: 18 in Quebec and Manitoba, 19 in most other provinces.
Deposits: Interac first
The Canadian cashier lists Interac and Interac e-Transfer, iDebit, Visa, Mastercard, MuchBetter, Jeton, bank transfer and four cryptos (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDT). The minimum is C$13, which is also the entry point for the welcome ladder.
Interac from a phone is the simplest route: you confirm in your bank's app and switch back. iDebit is the backup if your bank declines gambling transfers.
Apple Pay and Google Pay are not confirmed by any source. Do not count on them.
Payouts and paperwork
Withdrawals are usually approved within 24 hours, with the money arriving within a few business days (up to five). That is middle of the pack.
Verification asks for photo ID or a passport, and GGBet may run a video call. Checks are said to take about 24 hours. Have a well-lit room and a stable connection if the video request comes, because a dropped call on mobile data usually means starting over.
Support runs 24/7 through live chat and email ([email protected]), and there is a UK phone number (+44 203 769 1962). From Canada that is an international call, so chat is the sensible default.
Slots and live tables in a phone browser
GGBet offers thousands of games; sources put the provider count anywhere from 80 to more than 130. The live casino has tables and game shows, but we could not confirm which studios supply them, so check the live lobby before assuming your favourite Evolution show is there.
On a phone, use the provider filter and the search bar. Live streams are the biggest drain on data and battery, so save long sessions for Wi-Fi. Our mobile live casino guide explains what to look for in a table that fits a portrait screen.
Good to know
- The esports section can pull you into live bets you did not plan. A separate casino deposit limit helps.
- Promotions in the app are often esports-only. Read which section a promo applies to.
Is it for you?
Yes, if you already bet on esports and want slots in the same wallet, paid in and out with Interac. The iPhone app is better rated than most offshore apps and is updated often.
No, if you only play casino games. The lobby is one step removed, the licence is unclear and the bonus wagering is unknown. In that case start with our Interac casino list instead.
