RocketPlay Casino review: check the currency first

The operator is Scores55 Tech B.V., licensed by Curaçao's Gaming Control Board.

The old version of this page credited it with Maltese and British licences and mailed-out CDs. None of that applies.

Check the currency before your first deposit

On 26 October 2026 the RocketPlay lobby on a phone showed a welcome offer priced in euros, even though the visit came from a Canadian IP address. That is the standard package, 100% up to €1,000 plus 100 free spins. The Canadian-dollar exclusive exists, but you will not necessarily see it by default.

Why care? If your account opens in euros, every bank or card payment gets converted, and your bank or card issuer may charge a foreign-exchange fee both on the way in and on the way out. When the site offers you an app, it is adding a home-screen shortcut, a web app that opens the mobile site full-screen without the browser bar. AskGamblers describes the app as a download from the site, but the data points to this shortcut rather than a native build.

That is not a bad thing. There is nothing to install, Android does not ask you to allow unknown sources, and the site itself is fully optimised for small screens. On iPhone, Safari's share sheet does the same job if the prompt does not appear.

What the cashier takes

casino.org's 2026 review shows Visa, Mastercard, MiFinity, Neosurf, MuchBetter, online banking and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Tether) on the banking page.

No Interac icon. Only low-quality sites claim RocketPlay takes it, and we could not confirm it. Apple Pay and Google Pay are not listed either.

For a Canadian on a phone, that leaves three realistic routes: online banking (casino.org saw it from C$10), MuchBetter (their test deposit was C$30), or crypto from a wallet app on the same phone. The general minimum is C$20; AskGamblers puts the minimum withdrawal at €25.
