Seasonal promos

Black Friday and holiday casino promos

Updated October 2026. From the last week of November to New Year, casinos stack short-lived offers on top of each other. Here is what usually shows up and how to sort the useful ones from the expensive ones.

This page first went up in November 2021 as a news item about one casino's Black Friday week. That promotion is long over, so we've turned the page into something you can use every year: a guide to the Black Friday casino bonuses and holiday offers that appear between late November and early January, written for people who claim them from a phone.

In 2026, Black Friday falls on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November. Expect the first teasers in your inbox the week before.

What usually lands in your notifications

The formats repeat from year to year, even when the casino names change.

Reload boosts. A bigger-than-usual match on a deposit made that day, often 100% to 200% instead of the usual 25% or 50% reload. The old 2021 promotion this page covered was exactly that: a different match each day for a week, from 120% to 200%, each with its own batch of free spins.

Free-spin calendars. A set of spins unlocked each day, sometimes free, more often tied to a minimum deposit.

Advent calendars. The December version of the same idea, running from the 1st to the 24th or 25th. Tap a numbered door, get a prize: spins, a small match, loyalty points, occasionally a tournament ticket.

Cashback weekends. A higher percentage of net losses returned over Black Friday weekend or Boxing Day. Usually the simplest and fairest of the lot.

Tournaments and prize drops fill the gaps, with leaderboards for the most spins or the biggest multiplier on a named slot.

The traps, in order of how often they bite

Short expiries come first. Holiday bonuses often have to be cleared in 24 to 72 hours, where a standard welcome offer might give you a week or a month. Forty-times wagering inside three days is a lot of tapping.

Then the multiplier itself. Seasonal reloads tend to carry wagering at the high end. The 2021 promotion asked 40x on the cash bonus and 30x on spin winnings, and capped what a cash bonus could turn into at five times its size. Those numbers are typical, not extreme.

Deposit minimums are the third. A "200% boost" that needs a C$70 deposit is a different proposition from a C$10 one, and holiday offers usually sit higher than the casino's normal minimum. Seeing C$100 suggested in the cashier is not unusual.

The last one is fatigue. A calendar is designed to bring you back every day. If you notice you're opening the app to keep a streak alive rather than because you want to play, that's the moment to stop.

A note on Vulkan Vegas

The 2021 offer this page originally covered came from Vulkan Vegas. The brand no longer exists under that name: it became V.Vegas in 2026, and vulkanvegas.com is now a parked domain while the casino runs at v.vegas. If you still have an account from those days, our Vulkan Vegas to V.Vegas page explains what changed and what to check before depositing again.

Where to look this year

We can't tell you in October what each casino will run in late November; most announce seasonal offers only days ahead. The casinos at the top of our list are the ones we'd watch, because their regular terms are already readable and their cashiers work well on a phone. Spin Casino and Jackpot City run daily wheel spins year-round and both accept Interac, Apple Pay and Google Pay. King Billy's Thursday cashback already carries no wagering, so any holiday increase there is easy to judge.

Check our Spin Casino review and King Billy bonus page for the baseline offers, so you can tell whether a holiday version is actually better.

Before you tap Claim: a short checklist

  • Read the wagering and the expiry together. A low multiplier with a 24-hour clock can be harder than a higher one over a week.
  • Find the maximum cash-out or conversion line.
  • Check the deposit minimum for that day's offer, not the casino's usual one.
  • Confirm Interac or your phone wallet qualifies for the bonus.
  • Note what time zone the calendar resets on.
  • Set a holiday budget before the first notification arrives, and a deposit limit in the account to match.

If December is already a stretch, skip the calendars entirely. Our responsible gambling page shows how to mute casino notifications on iPhone and Android in under a minute.
