What's new
Karamba stopped operating on 24 August 2026. karamba.com now shows only a closure notice from White Hat Gaming, and refunds were promised within seven days.
Karamba Casino stopped taking bets on 24 August 2026. If you still have it bookmarked in Safari or Chrome, tapping that link now brings up a closure notice and nothing else.
Most people landing here want one thing: their money. So we start there.
What the closure notice promised
The notice comes from White Hat Gaming Limited, the licensed company that ran Karamba until the end. Karamba Limited owned the brand. According to the notice:
- Cash balances were to be refunded to the payment method registered on your account within seven days of the closure.
- Bonus money and loyalty points were cancelled. They are not paid out.
- Questions about the closure go to [email protected].
Seven days from 24 August means the refunds should have landed by early September. If yours did not, it is time to write.
Checking whether the refund already arrived
Look before you email. Refunds go back the way the money came in, which is not always where you expect.
For a card, check the card statement rather than your bank account; a refund can show as a credit with an unfamiliar merchant name. For an e-wallet, open the wallet app's history, not your bank app. For a bank-based method, search the transaction list for any credit around late August or early September.
If the payment method no longer exists (an expired card, a closed wallet), the refund may have bounced. That case needs a human answer, so email.
Writing to the closure inbox
Keep the message short and easy to match to your account:
- The email address and username you used at Karamba.
- Your cash balance at closure, with a screenshot if you took one.
- The payment method you used and its last four digits.
- A plain request: confirm the refund amount, date and destination.
Do not send full card numbers or passwords. Nobody legitimate needs them for this. And be wary of anyone who contacts you first offering to recover a Karamba balance for a fee.
A word on the dates
One big casino forum headlines Karamba as closed in June 2026. The operator's own page gives 24 August. Our guess is that the forum's date reflects when it stopped listing the brand. We go with the operator's date.
The brand itself dates from 2005. It belonged to Aspire Global for years and was sold to Esports Technologies (EBET) in 2021 and 2022. Our old review, written in the Aspire days, called it a new Canadian casino with a 1,000 CAD bonus. Neither part holds up now.
Where to play instead
If Karamba was your everyday casino, two long-running sites on our list are the closest match in feel and reliability:
- Luxury Casino: Casino Rewards group, Kahnawake-licensed, and one of only two brands on our list that also appear on Alberta's approved list. On a phone you use the browser outside Ontario. The welcome package carries 200x wagering on the first two deposits, which is steep.
- Spin Casino: a real iOS app in the Canadian App Store, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and C$10 minimum deposits. Ontario and Alberta have their own provincially licensed versions.
Our casino apps guide explains which brands have a native app and which only offer a browser site.
Information
Questions
Will Karamba pay out my bonus balance?
No. The closure notice says bonuses and loyalty points were voided. Only real-money cash balances were to be refunded.
Is there a new site that replaced Karamba?
No successor was announced. Treat any site claiming to be the new Karamba with suspicion, and never deposit to recover an old balance.
Can I still log in to see my history?
No. karamba.com only shows the closure notice. If you need your transaction history, ask for it at [email protected].
